One of the first things that you need when you want to build and operate your own website is a domain name. With there being millions of websites on the Internet it has become essential for each website to have a unique identity so that when Internet surfers type the name in the search engines, only that website and that website alone comes up.
If there were two or three websites with the same name then obviously there would be duplication, chaos and confusion. Web surfers would have no idea which site they should visit and why.
